Jordan A. Racey
Agency Owner
Born and raised in Rochester, New York and having graduated from the University of Vermont in 1998, Jordan decided that he wanted to live somewhere fun, active and warm enough to spend time outdoors 12 months a year. In January of 1999, Jordan packed up everything he had and drove west to start a professional and adult life in San Diego California. Beginning his career in the mortgage banking industry, Jordan soon realized he had a strong passion for helping people improve their financial well-being. Taking time to get to know his clients and providing them with top level consultative service became a daily focus. After the housing crash of 2008, Jordan had to think quickly and reposition his career, at which time he discovered his true passion in the insurance industry. With his focus on client service and a strong work ethic, Jordan began as an Insurance Agent in San Diego in 2008. With Jordan, the primary goal is building long-term relationships through honest communication, personalized service, and dependable guidance. Helping clients feel informed, protected, and confident in their coverage decisions is at the heart of everything the agency does.
Jordan and his wife have 3 young boys and live in Carlsbad, CA. Outside of work, Jordan’s primary focus is spending time with his family. When the free time becomes available, Jordan enjoys golfing, BBQing at home, and spending time with friends. Jordan is a diehard Buffalo Bills and San Diego Padres fan.
Richard “Rick” Monetta
Agency Producer
Born and raised in San Diego, Rick is a proud second-generation business professional with deep California roots and decades of real-world business experience. After relocating to San Francisco in 1993, Rick spent over a decade as a successful restaurant and bar owner, operating and managing the business from 1999 to 2012. Following the sale of his business, Rick transitioned into the insurance industry and has now spent more than 19 years as a licensed Insurance Agent helping individuals, families, and business owners protect what matters most. Having firsthand experience as a current homeowner and former business owner, Rick has a unique perspective when advising clients on insurance coverage, risk management, and long-term protection strategies. Rick understands the challenges entrepreneurs face and takes pride in helping clients better understand the value and importance of proper insurance coverage.
In his free time, Rick enjoys golfing, checking out the culinary scene and beaches in San Diego and spending time with his Nieces and Nephews.
Thyda Sarun
Senior Account Manager
Born and raised in Northern California, Thyda brings nearly two decades of insurance experience along with a strong background in customer service, retail, and hospitality. Known for being personable, approachable, and bringing a sense of humor into everyday interactions, building genuine relationships with clients has always been at the center of the work Thyda does.
Thyda began her journey with Farmers Insurance in 2005 at just 19 years old at the Farmers Service Center. What started as a short-term opportunity quickly turned into a long-term career after being hired full-time. Early experience included working in the coding department for over two years before transitioning into an Agent’s office. After gaining experience as a contact manager in a Farmers agency office, a move to San Diego in 2009 opened the door to new opportunities within a Farmers District Office as an administrative assistant. Shortly after, the transition into an Agency office as an Account Manager helped further develop expertise in customer service, operations, and insurance policy support. Thyda obtained her fully Licensed Agent status in 2012. Bringing over 21 years of experience in the insurance industry, Thyda’s clients are viewed as more than customers, they are treated like family. The focus has always been on creating trust, delivering dependable service, and helping individuals and families feel confident and protected.
Outside of work, Thyda’s life is centered around family, education, and community. As a proud mother of two boys, full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and dedicated soccer mom, balancing career and family has shaped a strong work ethic and commitment to helping others. A passion for culinary arts and cooking also reflects the belief that bringing people together and creating meaningful experiences matters both personally and professionally for Thyda.
Virak Sam
Account Manager
Virak is a California native, born and raised in Long Beach. Virak is detail-oriented and people-focused, bringing professionalism, creativity, and a strong commitment to excellent client service. With experience balancing healthcare administration and insurance operations as a licensed agent,
Virak understands the importance of organization, communication, and delivering dependable support to every client interaction.
Outside of work, Virak values new experiences and his community. Whether it’s cheering on the Lakers and Dodgers, snowboarding, gaming, or discovering new restaurants as a passionate food enthusiast, Virak believes in building genuine connections and bringing positive energy into both personal and professional relationships.
